  Booked Campsite 19 at Pondalowie Bay Bush Campground on September 30 to October 2. The spot is really cozy, (3m*3m) it has the bbq and the toilet very close, everything is very clean and the rangers were attentive to our needs during the stay. Please be careful with Kangaroo ticks, avoid putting your campsite too close to the bushes, there are always notices about that, however it was an excellent point, you can see many animals this was wonderful, it's close to the Pondalowie Bay.
  
  I really recommend bringing insect head net, if it is very hot there are too many flies and it is really annoying.

  Booked Campsite 11 at Pondalowie Bay Bush Campground on September 9, 2023 and upon arrival noticed the entrance to said campsite would be a narrow fit for our Mitsubishi Triton. Checked the website for any information about the size of the campsite, including the booking confirmation in our emails, but only information related to the size of the campsite and only stated it would fit one vehicle (not that you'd have to be driving a Nissan Micra to fit in the entrance). We quickly realised it was not viable to drive our vehicle any further but not before a poorly "repaired" post tore the sidewall of our tyre as pictured. Broken piece of timber and exposed timber screws were seen and their poor attempt to right the post without replacing the whole thing ultimately cost us $400 to replace the tyre.
  We were lucky to have the campsite to ourselves and moved to campsite 13 which had ample room to reverse the Triton in but noticed multiple other campsites had the same narrow entrance that absolutely would not have fit any conventional 4x4, and as expected more misleading photos and information on those sites that would screw over any camper during peak times where the luxury of simply moving to another site would not be possible.
  Unless you've been there before, I wouldn't suggest any 4x4 vehicle book any campsites during peak times as you'll only be disappointed by not being able to fit, especially if using rooftop tents, awnings or anything else attached to the vehicle.
  I look forward to hearing back from the Park as to how they wish to compensate our damaged property as a "reasonably foreseeable" hazard was not rectified prior to use of the campsite. The ACCC will have a field trip with this one!

  Beautiful area to visit but at the campground a big group of young men partied very loudly until 2am which was very annoying. Not much protection from the Sun or wind so need shelters.

  Meticulously maintained and great facilities but multiple sites played loud music and yelled until 2am evey day we were there. Made a compaint but no response. Unfortunately it needs more intervention from rangers to keep behaviour appropriate. Would not return to this site and would not recommend - especially for families.
